The Sequoia Healthcare District, on whose board I have served since 2002, has six “regularly scheduled meetings” each year. Compensation for board members has been in the form of $1200/month for health insurance premiums. That is being increased to $1500.
The public has a right to know why “regularly scheduled meetings” need to be rescheduled. This should not be done unless absolutely necessary. Why is this being considered?
