Woodside resident scares off mountain lion attacking her dog on Wednesday night

A mountain lion attacking a dog in Woodside Wednesday night was scared off by the dog's owner, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Contrary to previous information released by the county, the dog survived.

I'm very glad the dog is going to be ok, but this really can't be too unexpected given how close the area is to Huddart Park, and the time of day. As well, a 6 foot fence is nothing to a big cat---no need to climb. They just jump it, very easily. A bobcat can do that.
