Another thing to give thanks for at Thansgiving. Culinary Woodside is finally growing up.
Where does that leaves Buck's? Now might be a good time to up their game.

I certainly hope the service is better than at Mayfield Cafe. We refuse to go back anymore. The food was always good, but the wait staff was just awful, and complaints brought no improvement.

Hey Native
Buck's is Buck's. Don't mess with the tradition of counter culture. With the Village Pub, a new Woodside Bakery and Buck's there'll be something for every taste.

I hope the new restaurant is a success and remembers that many aren't made of money.
And, as far as Buck's... as much as we love it, I think they charge a high enough price without also, charging a TIP on your bill for Take0ut. That is so wrong.

Can't imagine how the existing parking is going to be sufficient.....

I can't wait. I go to a quaint bakery in the Willows for my Brownie Fix. Now I don't have to drive all the way down there. It matters because after I eat a brownie it seems to take forever to get home.

Is the new restaurant open for business yet - I cannot find any advertising for the bakery in Woodside.

Dave Boyce is a registered user.
Bakery co-owner Mark Sweyer told the Almanac that he doesn't have a date in mind yet for opening a cafe in Sharon Heights.
Mr. Sweyer said he is getting closer to completing his wholesale bakery in Menlo Park, which, when it is fully operational, should be instrumental in moving forward on the cafe.
