Despite the extraordinary power of synthesis and the content trustworthiness of the most important part of my thoughts, (Tara made a marvelous interview), I have to make a little clarification.
28 years ago, I was the General Manager of Frecuencia Latina, Channel 2, of Lima, PerĂş. A private network. What we decided to do was to avoid the show in the TV news of the fingers and ears that terrorist sent us from the people they kidnapped. MRTA began to threaten me and my family, coming to put a bomb in my house and shooting my car. That decides to me to start to live on my hobby, the photography.
MRTA and Shining Path were the two terrorist movements in Peru whom became responsible direct and indirectly of the dying of more than 60,000 peruvians in the following 10 years.
From 2001 to 2006 I was General Manager of TNP, network of the Peruvian State, during the government of President Toledo, and I fulfilled there all my expectatives of cultural promotion and public services.

Thanks for the opportunity of publish this clarification.

All the best

Guillermo Rivas
