That is because highly skilled workers from abroad will take significantly lower pay compared to their native born counterparts. Why not cultivate talent here?

Why is Condi relevant (or better yet: IS she relevant?)

She is the Russia Expert brought in by Cheney a decade after the USSR collapsed from it's own weight and brought on by it's Vietnam (Afghanistan.) She read the Aug 6 PDB to Dubya (Bin Ladin Determined to Attack in US) and Dubya stayed on vacation for a month. For that she is promoted to SecState and sells us phony WMD stories.

Just another Republican who never was elected, and never will be, spouting an opinion that any and all elected Republicans will ignore, much like the so called Republican leaders (all non-elected) that signed the amicus against Prop 8.

Whoop-de-doo, from Palo Alto.

Agree with Samir: if we are going to be a high tech economy, educate Americans for it.

non-office - tanks for succinctly stating my view. I admire the community work she's done w/African-American children & I know she has admirable cultural accomplishments. But the bad taste in my mouth left by her & the regime she was part of will always remain.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
