Review: 'Ruby Sparks'

"Ruby Sparks" proves it's something special by being unafraid to follow its premise to a dark place, the dream turning into a nightmare. In a way, there's as much "Frankenstein" to the story as there is "The Purple Rose of Cairo." ==I -- PC==

Assuming that you can stand the tremulous, on-the-edge-of-nothing of Dano and that you can suspend disbelief more than a few times (this movie asks for a record amount of them) you are still left with poor casting and an empty story. UGH.
