Unusual for a lab to bite like that. I wonder what other breeds were included in the animal.
Since the drive to retrieve is redirected prey drive, & fast movement of another can trigger it, I'm not surprised at all. I've met some pretty aggressive Labradors. Of course, more than breed it's the lack of owner control that is the issue. Many dogs are triggered by cyclists. I had a Lab mix that I got as a full grown dog that needed strict training to not react to cyclists.
