I was saddened to hear about the passing of Ronald Rio Ferrando and wanted to share with his family and friends that I will be keeping Ron in my thoughts; he was truly a wonderful man. Until 2007, we use to live on the corner of Sharon and the Alameda and we would always wave at each other as he drove his bus past our home. There were many occasions over the years when we had the opportunity to carry a brief conversation when he was stopped in front of our home by the red light. We both shared the passion of playing the drums and he often would tell me that he would hear me practicing. I know for a fact that he was well loved by the students from La Entrada and throughout the Las Lomitas School District including our daughter who is now 31 years old. Ron, rest in peace my friend... I had the pleasure of knowing Ron for almost twenty years as he was the brother of my Brother-in-Law,Bob. Ron was a quite man with a kind heart, whenever I was able to see him at family functions, Ron was a gentleman and especially kind to my elderly parents where he showed patience, humor and respect. I saw Ron last the day of my fathers funeral...yep, there was Ron, again on the scene, in a suit & tie and ready to be there for the family. The world lost a very good soul and we should be envious now that the souls Ron spends his time with now are graced with his presence...until we all meet again Ron...

Yours truly in spirit,
Bradford Barrett, Los Angeles
