I flew a lot of touch and goes out of Palo Alto Airport back in the 70's. I am very happy to see it's still operating 50 years later, It was one of the best times of my life. I would encourage anyone young or old to take a demonstration flight if not to become a member of the flying community then just for the thrill of it. I remember taking 5 friends from Moffett Field to South Lake Tahoe in an old C206 back in the day. No GPS, just VORs, Great memories.
