Tim Sheeper wins bid to keep running Burgess Pool

The Menlo Park City Council voted 3-2 on Tuesday, Feb. 28, to give Tim Sheeper the contract to manage Burgess Pool and the under-construction Menlo Park Community Center (MPCC), with Vice Mayor Cecilia Taylor and Council member Betsy Nash dissenting.

I appreciate the Mayors support of the Sheeper Bid for the pool and hope their will be ongoing oversight of the future negotiations. Separating programs from operations is like separating breathing from movement. Programs need people. No programs, no operations needed. Thank You again to our Mayor.
