This will create a real damper on legitimate educational bond measures. Taxpayers expect competence and integrity when they fund these projects.

Apparent corruption like this needs to exposed and punished.

District employees need to have their assets seized, levies on their incomes, and put in prison.

Collaborating companies need to be fined treble damages for the amounts overpaid to them, with responsible individuals going to jail.

The companies should perhaps be barred from any other contracts and contributing to bond measures where they might benefit.

Great article, thank you! Will be looking forward to see the results of Galatolo’s court case this week to see what comes of his 21 felony charges. I am very hopeful that justice will prevail and not let this criminal off lightly! Articles like this show only a small fraction of the full story of bullying, setups, coverups and more! Thanks for keeping us informed.

I do hope that there will be a full investigation into the financial affairs of Mr Galatolo's partner given that some of the corrupt payments were diverted to her accounts. To use his own words in such matters, Mr Galatolo should be "pursued to the end of the earth" to ensure that he is fully accountable for his corrupt actions over a long period of time.

Karim Allana's company bios state that he has been an expert witness in over 450 legal procedures. One wonders how the new accusations of kickbacks and bribery might impact the legal procedures he was involved in.
