Every time the Almanac publishes an article about people cited for selling alcohol to minors you don't include the locations. While not naming the people who were cited is a reasonable policy I think it is appropriate and useful information to identify the names of the businesses that were cited, otherwise it is a pretty useless article.

Living in Menlo Park for over 50 years the paper doesn't have to name the stores that got busted on account as residents know everyplace that sells booze which there aren't that many stores its always the same stores time and time again that gets busted. I know all the stores in menlo park that got stung but not going to name names as I don't want to be sued for slandered. When are these store owners going to learn.

Gina,

I have also been in Menlo for more than 50 years and it is not just stores selling alcohol, it is restaurants, bars, grocery stores, markets and other places as well. In fact according to the Alcohol Beverage Control there are 80 establishments in Menlo Park with active on-sale retail licenses (restaurants, bars, etc.) and 24 establishments that have a license to sell alcohol to take away (liquor stores, grocery stores, etc.). The last set of establishments that were cited included some locations that were a surprise to me.
