Woodside planning director to retire at the end of October

Woodside Planning Director Jackie Young is stepping down from her role after 14 years, after playing a central role in developing the town's trajectory for growth under state housing mandates.

Jackie Young has been a great Planning Director for many years. She managed the development of the General Plan in 2012 which has been key is preserving our rural town and supporting the equestrian community. Plus she is just a very nice person. She will be sorely missed.
