Glass door smashed in Atherton's fifth burglary of 2022

Atherton police reported the fifth burglary of the year on Thursday, after someone reportedly smashed a glass door to break into a home on Selby Lane.

The Town council needs to redirect APD resources to patrol streets and spend less time conducting traffic stops, enforcement and code violations.

Before you go blaming the PD why don't you ask if the homeowner had done the simplest thing possible to prevent burglaries, turn on their alarm system? Was the alarm system on at this house? My money is on "no".
