Portola Valley sends out an airplane to hunt for burglars? How many burglaries has Menlo Park had this year? Have they ever sent an airplane? Menlo Park doesn't even issue press releases for burglaries.

Not to place any blame on anyone - , but have you thought of checking out UBER for their dispatchers & drivers. There are so many kids who takwe UBER to & from all their activities.

In contex: there was a brutal armed violent home invasion robbery in the same area earlier this week. The gun, the blood, the hooded masked men grabbing a man outside his house at night, holding a gun to his head and his family captive while they ransacked the house, as they prayed to live through it.

Having another burglary just a couple of days later, while there were active police patrols through the neighborhood, does rattle our sense of security. (The plane overhead was annoying and silly).

PV is a town with a strong sense of community and very engaged residents. Private resources are flowing into solutions that will make PV a much less desirable target.
