"Art of the Deal" author identifies Trump as a Sociopath

Original post made by insider knowledge, Menlo Park: Linfield Oaks, on Jul 23, 2016

"If he were writing “The Art of the Deal” today, Schwartz said, it would be a very different book with a very different title. Asked what he would call it, he answered, “The Sociopath.”"

Web Link

I do not not how much more America needs to hear.

“I put lipstick on a pig,” he said. “I feel a deep sense of remorse that I contributed to presenting Trump in a way that brought him wider attention and made him more appealing than he is.” He went on, “I genuinely believe that if Trump wins and gets the nuclear codes there is an excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization.”

Sounds hyperbolic, but look at Trumps statements on NATO and Turkey. Recall that all World Wars started in Europe. Look at his statements on Korea and Saudi Arabia having nukes.

The man is a complete idiot with zero knowledge of policy and history. And he clearly only cares about himself.

So ignore the videos about the way Trump caressed and hugged his daughter on stage in Cleveland - the man is truly dangerous.

Of course, as a reality 'star', he is a world class narcissist - "The notion that he’s a self-made man is a joke. But I guess they couldn’t call the book ‘The Art of My Father’s Deals.’ "

I saw an ad on one a website this morning - A Trump ad with his picture and the flag raising at Iwo Jima statue. Whhhhaaaa?!?!?!?

What does Trump or anyone in his family have to do with Iwo Jima?

Trump was a draft dodger, using multiple deferments until he lucked out with a high number. None of his children served.

Now it looks like Trump the Sociopath is serving Putin the Megalomaniac.

@ insider knowledge

Donald J. Trump Date of Birth June 14, 1946

William J. Clinton Date of Birth August 19, 1946

Both were in the same pool of draft eligible American men.

Remind me again where Bill served? If Trump is a draft dodger so is POTUS #42.

Chelsea, like the Trump children, hasn't served either.

Comparing Trump with Bill Clinton?

That's a reach.

23 million new jobs in 8 years. 2 balanced budgets. Cut the size of every department of government.

Gave Bush a surplus, then Bush gave America it's first trillion dollar deficit.

Trump is a narcissistic megalomaniac. Clinton raises hundreds of millions for charitable work.

Clinton's got serious problems, but this ain't close.

Worse, Trump on the despotic Putin, ex-KGB:

"And I hope he likes me."

Maybe he will look Putin in his eyes, longingly, and see his soul.

Like you-know-who.

CNS????????

Obama inherited Bush's TRILLION dollar deficit and now has it under 400 billion, probably a lot lower. Look it up. Besides, conservatives always say....

"Reagan taught us deficits don't matter."

Per Dick Cheney. After acknowledging that Reagan TRIPLED the national debt. So c'mon now. Red pill or blue pill?

@I didn't know that: Difference between Clinton and Trump? Clinton isn't running an ad using the brave Marines at Iwo Jima to cloak his ChickenHawk aggression.

Truly, Trump is only a ChickenHawk is some instances - putting more American troops into the Middle East. How did that work out for Bush?

Trump's an apologist for Putin at best; at worst, his staff is OWNED by Putin - Trump and his Putin-owned-and-run Manafort (as well as Trump adviser and Gazprom stooge Carter Page) are ready to cede the Crimea to Russia, and abandon NATO to Russia as well. They actually put it in the convention platform, the sole contribution to the platform from Trump.

Shameful.

Treasonous - especially when Trump calls for a dictator like Putin to get involved in America's elections.

And then add in the Trump lies:

"I spoke indirectly and directly with President Putin, who could not have been nicer," Trump said during a National Press Club luncheon in May 2014.

Nearly three years later, Trump changed his tune.

"I've never met Putin. I don't know who Putin is," Trump said Wednesday during a campaign event in Florida."

For years now, at least since 2000 the country has been wondering if
the Republicans were sane ... so, does Trump give us the answer to this
question, and does the fact that it is still not totally accepted mean that
the US is suffering from mass hysteria? What is going on here.

If this guy can get this far, take a look in the rear view mirror and
look at what led up to this?

Trump's Art of the Deal author continues to share his insider knowledge, about Trump saying he was being "sarcastic":

Tony Schwartz @tonyschwartz
As I've said: Donald Trump doesn’t joke. He is never subtle. When he makes a death threat, it's because he's feeling impotence & rage.
4:32 PM - 9 Aug 2016

Impotence and Rage.

Such qualifications for (such a tiny) finger on the nuclear trigger.

Game recognize game.

Sociopath know sociopath.

Trumps campaign manager takes $12.7 million cash from Putin allied dictator. Off-shore accounts in the Caymans, etc..

Think we'll see his taxes, either?

After he took millions from Marcos to support his dictatorship in the 80s.

Trump. America.

Amerika?

This is a cheap dimestore spy novel.

Bush loved to look in Putin's eyes.

Trump got set up with Putin and his eyes by his crooked campaign manager. Then fired him.

Tacky!

It's amazing how many military and foreign policy folks think that Trump would be more than a disaster, but actually dangerous to our country.

This guy IS a sociopath.

Trying to get a few minorities to support him, so that his white nationalist base feels better about supporting Trump the racist (he is, you know it, I know it, Paul Ryan knows it, the "mexican" federal judge from Indiana knows it.)

Even the media when they try to hide it, knows it:

"For Trump, the objective is twofold, according to his aides and allies. He wants to make inroads with minority voters, who polls show overwhelmingly support Clinton. He also believes that a more measured approach on race can convince white voters now shunning him — especially women — that he is not the racist THAT HIS (Trump's) INFLAMMATORY RHETORIC might indicate."

More sociopath Trump:

Fred Goldberg, former IRS commissioner: "Trump has no excuse to not release his tax returns"

Trump goes crazy when Hillary repeats his vile words. Like it's the first time he thought them through. And then reacts like a 2 year old, blaming the messenger.

I would hate to be a republican in the future. If you didn't denounce him by now, you have to carry him the rest of your life.

Choke artist.

Turn in your wig, Trump.

Trump gets fined for his foundation's donations to a politician that protected him in a Trump University lawsuit.

Clinton: The Clinton Foundation received four out of four stars — the highest rating that Charity Navigator gives after a close look at a charity's finances. The rating is based on annual federal tax documents. It was not intended to reflect whether Hillary Clinton kept donors to her family's foundation at appropriate arm's length or provided favored access as secretary of state.

Also: Another charity watchdog, Charity Watch, previously gave the Clinton Foundation an "A'' rating on a scale of A-F. Charity Watch has no connection to the Clinton Foundation, said its president, Daniel Borochoff.

The Clinton Foundation gets top ratings from every watchdog.

And Trump still won't release his personal taxes.
