25 years to life in Prison for burglary! Isn't that what they give murderers? I do not condone burglaries or home invasions. I would rather have my tax dollars go towards rehabilitation. I'm sure the harsh sentence has more to do with the 15 priors than with the latest two burglaries. Recidivism should certainly have severe consequences, or else we will have abrogated our obligation as a civil society to protect ourselves from perpetual predators.
