Woodside teen jumps to death from Interstate 280 bridge

The California Highway Patrol is reporting the death at about 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 14) of a 17-year-old Woodside girl who, witnesses said, jumped from the bridge on Sand Hill Road as it passes over Interstate 280 and was struck by a vehicle.

So incredibly sad. As a parent of a 17yr old daughter my heart aches for the girl, the family and her loved ones. Ugh, such pressure on these kids. So sad...

There are no words...I only hope this family and all who cared about ****** will someday heal knowing she is not suffering any more. Absolutely tragic and heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for your loss.
