I hope they remember to put in a rodent barrier as moles were also already destroying the prior turf field.

Ten to one the poster above has some 'issues'. And can't post any facts to back up her opinion.

What were the people that were supposed to be inspecting and approving this work doing the first time? Mr. Sheikholeslami was ultimately responsible for oversight of this project and he FAILED. If this work had been properly supervised and inspected in the first place it wouldn't have to be redone. So what if the sub and the general are doing it at no cost? The district is coughing up $50,000 to someone that should have prevented this from happening in the first place. I don't speak from ignorance here. I've been in construction for over twenty years and have done public works projects. I find it absurd that Mr. Sheikholeslami has the gall to post this letter as if he did nothing wrong. This district clearly has problems and they start with oversight.

I am sorry to read all the negative comments/comments/opinions regarding the re-installation of the synthetic field at hillview. While we can all surmise what happened or didn't happen during the construction process of the original install, we can say with certainly that new installation is looking good and in fact, better than the first install, which is a win for the school as well as the city. I commend Ahmad for his diligence in righting this wrong and I look forward to seeing the finished product.
