The County has changed it position and will now be videotaping future meetings.

The same thing happened with the Charter Review Committee Meetings in 2010.

Todays meeting in Half Moon Bay started a little late.

Myself and Matt Grocott publicly challenged the legal standing of this Committee and asked them to stop this meeting and go back to the Board of Supervisors and Motion-second-discuss and vote for it properly, as we have before 4/22-23/13. Also we recommended videotaping of this meeting to be done and to be placed on website. Sabrina Brennan said same about videotaping.

A couple things missing at this meeting.

No Pledge of Allegiance and no videotaping of this meeting so the public could see what took place.

From what I could see there was not one member of the public there that was was not connected to this group of people. Not sure what the result was Matt and I left after public comment.

Tonights meeting starts at 6:30 PM

This is a quote from Bonnie Eslinger's article.

Board President Horsley, who helped negotiate the settlement with Groom and other officials, said the county has budgeted up to $100,000 to hire consultants and do community outreach about the redistricting. He said he doesn't anticipate major changes.
"It's hard to say," Horsley said. "I think they'll incrementally change a couple of streets here or there. I don't think it will be a dramatic shift."

Taxpayers cost to date.
$650,000 to Mr. Rubin
$345,000 to Mr. Wagstaffe and Kerr
and now $100,000 for this committee.

Welcome to San Mateo County

Tonight during public comments some residents from EPA expressed their thoughts about the lack of flyers/ads/information to the community to notify the public of the meeting.

former Mayor of San Carlos Matt Grocott spoke again about this committee having no legal standing and the minutes was incorrect re:6/15/13

Mr. Run the attorney who received $650,000 for suing SMC shared how the presentation the Committee is presenting to the public makes no mention that it would not be doing this if they weren't sued....He's right no mention of it.

If I had to guess how many people from the public were there I'd say 10

From last nights meeting.

Former Mayor of San Carlos Matt Grocott who has personally brought this issue back to the committee twice and no correction has taken place and he has now informed the committee that he is now going to take the issue of not motioning legally to the civil grand jury.
