Farewell to longtime M-A Jazz Band leader Frank Moura

After 39 years as the director of the Menlo-Atherton High School Jazz Band and a music teacher, Frank Moura will retire in June, a legend in the eyes of many of his students, colleagues and fans.

I went to the Frank Moura farewell concert tonight at the Menlo-Atherton High School performing arts center, and it was amazing. Full house. They're naming the music facility after Frank Moura. All the bands performed. Lots of standing ovations. Thank you, Frank!

Frank was/is the best. Certainly we were a bunch of misfits, but he truly made us into something greater than the sum of its parts. We all love you Frank. Thank you for everything.
