Former MP city manager ousted from manager post in Scottsdale

Jan Dolan, Menlo Park's city manager from 1990 to 2000, has been ousted from her post as city manager in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to a news reports.
The Scottsdale City Council voted 7-0 March 18 to end Ms. Dolan's eight-year tenure, approving a severance agreement that will pay her more than $160,000.

$160k? While still too high, it is a good $90k less than the $250k that our City Manager makes (in salary and benefits).
