Grizzlies name lacrosse director

Matt Bond has been named managing director of the Menlo Park Youth Lacrosse Grizzlies Club.

Mr. Bond played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University from 1991 to 1995 and has been coaching at the youth and high school levels for the past 18 years. He also serves as the varsity offensive coordinator for lacrosse at Menlo-Atherton High School.

Off the field Mr. Bond served as a youth pastor for 18 years, most recently at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church from 2009 to 2012.

Mr. Bond has also started SixFifty Lacrosse, which provides a high school fall indoor league and after-school lacrosse at elementary and middle schools. The after-school program is offered at Oak Knoll, Hillview, La Entrada and St. Raymond schools.
