Pet of the week: Amber

By Scott Delucchi | Peninsula Humane Society

Pucker up. Amber would love to plant one on you. She's our adorable, 8-year-old Dagle available for adoption at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA.

Yes, you read that right -- she's a Dachshund/Beagle

mix as best we can tell. That could also make her a Beaschund.

Whatever it is, she's a winning combination. She 17 pounds, and a little portly. She's sweet, mellow and would love a quiet, low-activity home (no small children) and a lap for cuddling.

She can live with other dogs her same size and possibly cats. To meet Amber, visit our Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame or visit online at www.phs-spca.org.
