Missing parrot seen near Alice's Restaurant

Cecil, a small female parrot, escaped her keeper on Jan. 18 and was last seen Tuesday, Jan. 21, near Alice's Restaurant in Woodside.

Her keeper, Erika, is offering a reward for her return as well as advice on how to lure her to within reach.

Should someone hear the parrot's unique two-chirp call, Cecil will respond to her name and understands the word "walnut," which should be spoken "even if you don't have any," Erika says in a flier. "She loves walnuts."

If Cecil comes within reach, she should be taken inside, covered with a towel if possible. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to call 650-521-3467.
