San Mateo's Hillsdale Shopping Center just added two new food and beverage options alongside a spate of new retailers to keep shoppers sated as holiday shopping peaks in the days and weeks ahead.

Its new Pressed Juicery location offers cold-pressed juices, cleanses, smoothies and plant-based snacks. The juice shop brand also has locations at the Stanford Shopping Center and in Santa Clara, Cupertino, San Jose, Los Gatos, Mountain View, and Burlingame. The regional chain offers juice deliveries within an 8-mile radius.

The mall is also hosting Kathy's Holiday Snack Shop, a pop-up spin on San Mateo bakery Kathy's Creative Kakes, which will be selling seasonal snacks and holding holiday dessert workshops. Among the snacks offered are cupcakes, small cakes, cake pops, tea cakes, Christmas cookies and predecorated gingerbread houses.

The pop-up is also hosting a series of gingerbread house and Christmas cookie decorating workshops, set to be held on the upper level near the mall's dining terrace, running from Nov. 28-Dec. 24.

Registration for the workshops can be accessed here.

The shopping center is also adding a collection of shops by Celery, a company setting up pop-ups in local shopping centers to promote the products of home-based retailers. There will be pop-ups offering women's clothing, vintage goods, home decor and collectibles and street-style fashion, art and culture, among other items, according to a press release.
