UC Application Redesign

Uploaded: Jun 6, 2019
(written by Lori McCormick)

The University of California application is getting a new look! The outdated application is being refreshed and new technologies will be added for easier usability.

What can you expect from this new redesign? According to the UC’s website, the application will feature the following:

- A new look and modernized design
- Intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface
- Clearer, simpler language
- More places to find help
- ADA compliant

Not to worry, the
Personal Insight questions
will remain the same. The UC application will be available starting August 1st. Until then, consider spending your summer months exploring the Personal Insight questions and start writing your responses.

Freshman Undergraduate Deadline to apply is November 30th.

It's not that the old UC application looked bad, but I'm glad they're improving it. It looks a little bit outdated (and so is the University of California's website, by the way) just take a look at this Web Link It looks like something from the early 2000's, isn't it? It would be great if they could update the university's website design, too. Maybe something simplistic and more modern like this college forum's design would work Web Link Still, I'm glad they decided to redesign the application form. It's definitely something.
