National College Decision Day

Uploaded: Apr 21, 2016
(Written by Lori McCormick)

National College Decision Day is on May 1st. What this means is that a student must officially send their intent to register forms and pay their deposits to attend the college of their choice by this deadline.

Invariably, there are many reasons why a student chooses their college. For some, it is purely based on academics, and for others, it might be location, location, location. Finances also play a part in the decision-making. But for the majority of students, it is mix things: geographic location, campus community, academics, social clubs and organizations and student-to-faculty ratios.

What were the determining factors in your college choice?
Community.
What is it worth to you?
