Cinequest film festival offers screenings online

Virtual version of annual local fest runs through March 30

"Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story," a feature length documentary about Brock's quest to bring free health care to Americans, is screening as part of the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival. Courtesy Paul Michael Angell.

This year's edition of the Cinequest Film and Creativity Festival is, like many current events, being presented online (it usually takes place in San Jose and Redwood City). Film buffs can catch streaming versions of the festival's more than 100 films, live parties and spotlight events through March 30, via its online platform Cinejoy.

Offerings include documentaries, feature films and shorts, plus Q&A sessions and symposiums. More information is available at Cinequest.org.
