M-A National Merit finalists named

Out of 16,000 semifinalists, 12 members of the Menlo-Atherton High School class of 2013 have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship program, the school announced.

Those selected to continue in the competition for Merit scholarships are: Stephen Chu, Amal Duriseti, Tyler Finn, Meredith Geaghan-Breiner, Casey Kiyohara, Nina Lozinski, Roger MacFarlane, Madeline Napel, Zoe Nuyens, Emilia Reed, Allison Silverman and Nicole Wong.
