The whole town's invited to 'The Wedding of the Year'
Menlo School will present "The Wedding of the Year," an "environmental, interactive theater" event, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17, at Florence Moore Theatre on the Menlo School campus, 50 Valparaiso Ave. in Atherton.
Created by the cast and crew around the wedding of two culturally-clashing families, the audience first celebrates the wedding in the theater, then follows the bagpipes to the new Creative Art & Design Center for the wedding reception.
As guests of New Jersey's Fantastikini family at the wedding of their son to the daughter of the Techmores of Atherton, the audience is invited to dine at the Italian wedding buffet, be entertained by the Rat Pack Band and dance the night away.
All tickets are $10 and include the wedding reception buffet. Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. For reservations, go to tickets@menloschool.org or call 330-2001, ext. 2333.
