Filoli names new executive director
Cynthia D'Agosta, former executive director of the Committee for Green Foothills, is the new executive director of Filoli, the historic estate in Woodside.
She also served as the first executive director of the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority in Menlo Park.
A Bay Area native, Ms. D'Agosta grew up in San Jose. She holds a master's degree in landscape architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design and a bachelor of science degree in science and fine arts from UC-Santa Cruz.
Although her official duties begin Dec. 1, Ms. D'Agosta will be on hand to greet visitors at Filoli's annual nine-day fundraiser, Holiday Traditions, which starts Nov. 23.
