Music@Menlo sets winter series

Music@Menlo launches its third annual winter series at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, with a chamber music concert featuring the Miro Quartet at the Performing Arts Center at Menlo-Atherton, 555 Middlefield Road in Atherton.

The all-Beethoven program will feature the composer's Opus 59 quartets, written for and dedicated to Count Razumovsky, the Russian ambassador in Vienna and an amateur violinist and music aficiondo.

The concert is the first of three winter programs. Additional concerts will be presented Feb. 10 and May 12.

Tickets for Sept. 30 are $50/$45 for adults and $25/$20 for students.
