Miles McMullin receives award

Miles McMullin, 20, of Woodside, a junior at Cornell University, was awarded the Radical Innovation in Hospitality Award on May 6 by the John Hardy Group and Hospitality Design Group.

Mr. McMullin received the student prize, which includes $1,500 and a trip to Las Vegas. A student at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, he wrote "Miles Files" for the Family Almanac pages from age 12 to 17.
