John Maltbie to Supervisors $21,000,000 Seaton and SamTrans

Original post made by Michael G Stogner, Atherton: West Atherton, on Jul 20, 2013

This should come as no surprise, Seaton and Daughters of Charity Health Systems funded and staffed the Yes on Measure A campaign, to the tune of $1,500,000 out of a total of $1,751,283.

Maltbie has recommended $11,500,000 to Seaton (This years contribution) and $10,000,000 to SamTrans.

Supervisors will vote Tuesday on this issue.

Potential conflict of interest could exist with Mike Scanlon, and 4 Supervisors being members of Service League of San Mateo County.

Correction, no conflict of interest possible.

The four Supervisors names have been removed from the Service League of San Mateo County's website.

So what you're saying is we have a bunch of corrupt politicians on our board of supervisors and other government agencies in San Mateo county? What else is new?

President of the Board of Supervisors Don Horsley said.

"I think we made it pretty clear in the election process that we want to make sure all hospitals are seismically safe and it would probably receive substantial assistance from the county. We were pretty transparent and I think we made our case to the 65 percent of voters who approved it,"

I don't know about ALL hospitals, I know Seaton funded and staffed the Yes on A campaign.
