Menlo Park market robbed at gunpoint

A masked man robbed La Michoacana Market in Menlo Park at gunpoint on Saturday.

of course this is a bad area of menlo park. the va hospital is closeby to this area and freeway 101. how terrible that these occurences go on. over the years there is not much improvement around the bay area

The liquor/market store on El Camino in a "good area" next to Atherton has been robbed more often than the Willow grocery.

Are you implying that the VA facility contributes to your "bad area" opinion, and that if it and the vets were removed the area could become a "good area?"

I hope I misinterpreted your remarks and that your definition of a "bad area" was not predicated upon a perception that vets who require physical and behavioral treatment for their service are bad people?

Another person not in the "know" VA Hospital has nothing to do with the area incidents.
