"Screen Free Week" Event

Original post made by Atherton Library on Apr 30, 2013

The Atherton Library is hosting a parent workshop entitled, "Media, Technology & Early Childhood Development" on Thursday, May 2 at 4 pm. Are you wondering how television, videos, computers and smart phone applications impact your baby, toddler or preschooler? The Parents Place offers a workshop that focuses on how young children are impacted by all the various "screen time". You will learn the risks of screen exposure; whether educational programs and games truly enhance your child's learning; and how to establish a strong foundation for a healthy media diet as your child matures. Presented by Parents Place. 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane in Atherton. 650-328-2422.
