I agree that the Republican Party is dead unless they let up on their bigotry policies that they have advocated since the 1960s. Women, non-whites, and gays are gaining their political and corporate voices. Continuing to belittle these groups is destroying the Republican Party.

Perhaps young Master Kiraly should do a little reading about the recent past and ask some questions of his parents:

- "Mommy, which Republican presidents have had a balanced budget, or left a surplus? They always talk about it when they're out of power, but who actually walked the walk?"

Or:

- "Daddy, why did Republican George Bush create the first trillion dollar deficit in history, after being left a budget surplus by Democrat Bill Clinton?"

Or possibly:

- "Mother, Father - how are we supposed to pay for the residual trillions in Iraq war costs (vet health costs, rebuilding the military, etc...)? You know, the war that was caused by Bush and Cheney declaring that Saddam absolutely had WMD, and we would absolutely be greeted as liberators? Or would be paid for by Iraqi oil?"

You're a smart kid, Paul, keep learning. And don't hide behind the "it's only the social issues that cause intelligent Californians to detest the GOP" meme. We detest the GOP for SO many reasons.
