Park Theater building deserves respect

Original post made by Roslyn Raney on Aug 22, 2007

I support preserving the Park Theater and making a serious application to have it placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The current owner has not shown respect for the building nor for the wish of many citizens to preserve at least the option of having the Park Theater become a film venue again. I attended the special CIty Council meeting and spoke in support of Mr. Duncan's proposal. I was particularly impressed by his pledge to save the building no matter what, even if the dance studio proposal should not be successful.

Menlo Park, please help save the Park Theater!
