Facebook censors Ghandi Quote and suspends account
Menlo Park, posted by Ed Pickett, a resident of another community, on Jan 3, 2013 at 3:03 pm

Facebook is now the official web site that censors political thought. If you want to post liberal doctrine then Zuckerberg is fine with that. But there is hell to pay if you even think about posting anything that offends Zuckerberg's sensitivities (i.e., conservative thought). Especially if you support the second amendment to the U.S. Consitution. Zuckerberg is for the Bill of rights except when it offends him. Then he abridges free speech. So now we have a twofer. Zuckerberg against both the first and second amendments. He is a prince of a guy.

The post that riled Zuckerberg is one from Mathatma Ghandi's autobiography. Ghandi said

"Among the many misdeeds of British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest."

OK, Zuckerberg doesn't agree with that. But does that justify his censorship of the quote and the suspension of the user's privileges.

Apparently Facebook's community guidelines include the censorship of conservative thought.

"naturalnews"?

Really? Slow news day.

I'm sure Zuck was monitoring natural news' fb page personally just to offend Ed.

Pickett's charge

You obviously don't understand Facebook's filtering software. If you did you would not make such an off-the-mark post.

Oh, you are obviously so ahead of the curve.

Explain to us dumb folk how FB's "filtering software" relates to "there is hell to pay if you even think about posting anything that offends Zuckerberg's sensitivities"

All ears....

Pickett's charge,

Please learn to read.

We have a winner, and we have a loser. The winner, barely, wins by default.

Because the loser uttered this: "You obviously don't understand..." followed by "Please learn to read"

What's next?

He was commonly known as Mahatma Gahndi.

I'm not a fan of censorship, but I am a fan of spelling words correctly.
