Library Supporters Campaign Tactics Under Fire
Atherton, posted by Campaign Spending, a resident of the Atherton: other neighborhood, on Nov 3, 2012 at 8:53 am

The Yes on Measure F Campaign has only raised $6,875.00 but spent $22,529.00. Take out the large donors (Kupperman & Crittenden each $1,000.00; Sleeth $800; McKeithen, Sanders, Oster, Timpson each $500) and it has raised less than $2,100.00.

The No on Measure F or The Save Our Park Campaign has raised $8,248.00.

Yesterday the leaders of the Save Our Park have sent out an email challenging the tactics of Yes on Measure F by spending three times what was raised. www.saveourpark.info

Former Mayor Didi Fisher has asked: "Who is giving them all this credit?"

The position is that by spending three times income, The Yes on F Campaign appears to have far greater financial support than it does.

In fact a Yes on F has been running a banner ad on the Almanac Web Site for weeks. Yes on F's campaign form does not show that the Almanac has been paid nor how much is due.

A few weeks back the Almanac reported that current council members put the Tactics of the Atherton Police Association "Under Fire".

Are campaign monitors coming to Atherton?
