Orionid meteor shower

Original post made by whatever, Menlo Park: Central Menlo Park, on Oct 18, 2012

The Orionid meteor shower was the cause of the Wed evening boom. The boom was likely from a meteor as it "fireballed" and broke up in the atmosphere.

BTW Beware "The Day of the Triffids."
