The alert means that air quality is expected to be poor and residents are advised to reduce driving and avoid outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.

Is the title of this article a typo? The alert for Saturday was issued on Friday. The alert that was issued today is for Sunday.

Protect all of our kids health by reducing your pollution for a few days.

Lame- school sports, running errands, BBQs - I don't know many who pay attention to these alerts. We do, but that's because we keep our lives relatively simple & don't have kids to ferry around.
