** Warning to ALL Sacramento Democrats: go against the will of the California taxpayer by authorizing any – repeat ANY funding – for HSR in the Budget (in 2012, 2013, etc.) and you WILL HAVE YOUR TAX MEASURERS VOTED DOWN!!! There is a direct link and direct correlation between Democrats overspending hundreds of billions in a Union sponsored boondoggle (like HRS) and cuts to seniors, mental health facilities, K-12, parks, cops/firefighter/teacher jobs. The CA voters and taxpayers have figured out the HSR link and will not authorize any new money (i.e. taxes) to Sacramento Democrats until they kill HSR funding. Authorize it, however, and you will never, ever see any source of revenue coming into CA’s General Fund.

I love people who say things like, 'most people....' and then fail to provide any statisical evidence.

HSR is a stupid, huge waste of taxpayer money. Building another massive bureaucracy and infrastructure in a bankrupt state will only make things worse. It will be years before even the interest is paid off on this project.
