Former OMB Director Under Reagan Slams Romney's Bain Job Claims
The Local Dish, posted by Gosh Golly, a resident of the Woodside: other neighborhood, on Jun 6, 2012 at 10:50 am

Last Friday on Fox News David Stockman is surprisingly honest about Romney's job creation claims.

Former Reagan OMB Director Stockman said

"...I don't think Mitt Romney can legitimately say he learned anything about how to create jobs in the LBO business..."

"...all the jobs that he talks about came from Staples. That was a very early stage venture that they got out of long before it got to its current size."

Pretty entertaining to watch Fox News talking heads explode right before they cut him off.

As Mr. Stockman notes, Romney's claim to have created private sector jobs is bogus.

As for the public sector, he impressively applied his skill to drive his state down 10 positions to 47th in the nation in job creation.

Of course it's also a shame that simple democracy was not allowed to prevail by counting every vote in the state, which would have also resulted in Mr. Gore being president. Too bad because the world would be a better place for it.

Hank, funny how you have no answer on this thread....

Cherry, do me a favor and followup over here where we can have a more balanced view on the tag line :-) Hank chuckles every time you let him keep the other discussion alive for another go around.

Hank says:

> Bush won the election and Gore had a lot of runners stranded on base! Game Over! Gore's a loser.

That's only because Bush had a hand picked supreme court willing to leave uncounted voters disenfranchised in Florida.

G.GOLLY is one of the more articulate spokespeople online and he/she even lives in WOODSIDE!!

So good to know that the voice is not of one of the "regular" older foggies.
