Editorial: A wake-up call on affordable housing

City Manager Alex McIntyre said it all in his comments about settling a lawsuit with three nonprofit groups that want Menlo Park to get moving on making more sites available for affordable housing.

Congratulations on recommending affordable housing downtown instead of repeating the tired idea of cramming more into our already-overcrowded neighborhood. City council, pay attention!
