Plans to renovate the golf course and tennis courts at the Menlo County Club in Woodside moved one step closer to reality on Monday night when the town's Architectural and Site Review Board approved the project with some recommendations and sent it on to the town's Planning Commission.

Typical comments from a bunch of board members that need to be in everyone's business and like to hear themselves talk. They have no idea what it takes to operate a golf course. A rare "wood rat" and a pond barely bigger than an average swimming pool where "creatures have come to rely on it"? Please. Isn't this private property?
