Monday, July 16, 2007 at 4:00 PM, Mad Science will present a movie special effects program for ages 5 and up.

Some of the topics the children investigate include: The difference between magic and science; What a dinosaur sneeze and polymers have in common; Gravity-defying feats using scientific principles.

Mad Science shows are spectacular science-themed shows designed to amaze and entertain young audiences. This program is free and is sponsored by the Friends of the Atherton Library.

The library is located at 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane in Atherton. Visit our website at www.smcl.org for more information. Or call the library at 650-328-2422.
