Carole Groom hires John Maltbie back.

Original post made by Michael G. Stogner on Nov 16, 2011

John Maltbie said "I am looking forward to serving the residents of San Mateo County to the best of my abilities."

That's what David Boesch was doing before Carole fired him. He made the mistake of asking the simple question....How is San Mateo County going to pay for any of the New Jail.

Carol, Adrienne, Rose and Don did not like that question, because they don't know how that is going to happen and they don't care.

Wake up San Mateo County

Maltbie also solicited a decoy prostitute in San Mateo County back in the 1990s. This was reported in the press. There are reports that this also happened in Santa Clara County.

When Sheriff Munks was caught in the house for underage prostitutes in Las Vegas, Maltbie was appointed to review the expenditures by Munks and Co. to see if they'd used County funds for personal use on that trip.

What is wrong with San Mateo County? Can't they find people to serve who have clean records?

Almost $15,000 of taxpayers money and equipment was spent on the Operation Dollhouse 4/21/07 trip.

Supervisors Jerry Hill, Rich Gordon, Adrienne Tissier, Mark Church and Rose Gisbon never bothered to ask Sheriff Greg Munks to repay it. Even after they were asked to get it.

What is wrong with San Mateo County? Two of our Five Supervisors are APPOINTED by other Supervisors. Its time to fix that.

That this was put on the Consent Agenda is the height of duplicity. You might notice another item on the consent agenda for an ADDITIONAL $50 million to cover already retired employees' health benefits. Every time taxpayers seek some work done by the county they are told there is no money to cover it. Check out the BOS Agenda for next Tuesday and read some of the back up material.
