One of Menlo College's Wealthiest Grads Accused of Sexual Assault

Billionaire Menlo College graduate Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, nephew of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, is being investigated in Spain on allegations that he "drugged and sexually assaulted a young model on a yacht on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza" in 2008.

A spokeswoman for Prince Alwaleed’s company said last week that the accusations against him were “completely and utterly false.” She said the prince did not charter a yacht in Ibiza, or take his own yacht there, at the time when the model said she was assaulted and raped.

Al-Waleed received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Menlo College in 1979. His wealth is reportedly about $20 billion. He is a leading investor in both Citigroup and Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. media empire. A number of Saudi princes attended Menlo College in the 1970s.

Doesn't it seem more relevant that he's royalty accused of the crime than that he's so wealthy?

Doesn't it seem relevant that he's male? None of it is relevant. It's all ninsense trying to smear someone because of who they are.
